after 1/2 day of boring work...
all the females from my home headed down to vivo for some shopping. yay!
then when the male arrived, we had dinner at thai accent. a practice we have since we first stepped into vivo. haha. the food's really gd.
the really spicy tom yum soup with yes, an abundance of mushrooms!
the iced roselle tea that tasted like umm prune juice to me.
not too bad a movie. should have more zombie scenes though. but i preferred the alternate ending:
"SO, the alternate ending begins right after he secures the woman and child through the small hatch door. The lead vampire smears his slimy hands on the glass door in the shape of a butterfly, we hear Wills daughter, and Will lifts the edge of the woman vampires shoulder to reveal a butterfly tattoo. With no sound, he unhooks everything from his test patient and has the woman open the door. He slowly wheels the gurney right up to the lead vampire, having his face mere inches from the creature. (resulting in a sense of fear that was never achieved in the theatrical)
He reaches for a syringe to revive her and the other vampires swarm around him but are quickly called off by the lead. He injects her, she opens her eyes, and there is somewhat of a romantic moment, if you can call it that, between the lead vamp and his woman. (It sounds crazy, but in context with the rest of the film it’s actually somewhat touching) The lead vamp nuzzles his woman and carries her off, and the vamps all leave.
Will is left standing, with his wall of test patient pictures lining the wall behind him and we see him as the vamps must have seen him…..like a serial killer with his wall of fame proudly displayed…a nicely done reversal. Then they all load up in the family station wagon and head to Vermont, leaving us with some more cool NY in decay shots and a new recording playing on the radio."

DO YOU KNOW...
this is how many Zimbabwe dollars were needed to buy a loaf of bread.
now, Zimbabweans can buy three loaves with only one bank note, $50 million bank note.
therefore Zimbabwe's $50 million = US$1 = S$1.40.
it's called apophis. it's 390m wide. and it could hit earth in 2036.

here~ this is our bunky room! it's creepy and hot and smelly too. oh yah we had to share a common toilet outside too.
well, the guys' room's even bunkier, hotter and smellier. haha!
so we girls decided to shower at ms foo n joeis's AIR-CON room n spend the nights there instead. thankfully, we didnt cuz:
1. richard n the guys persuaded the person-in-charge to let us all have the air-con rooms. hahaha.
=D
2. ms foo n joeis woke up in the middle of the night just to kill...................COCKROACHES! eeww!
250308
2.whitewater rafting
it wasnt! as i swung from one plank to the other, in mid-air grabbing to only a rope, i thought my fingers wld slip off n fall. this was the scariest! it's not the end cuz when i reached the other plank, somehow i turned like 180degrees (still grabbing to the rope of cuz) and so i had to turn back to the correct direction. phew~
we're out in 5mins. haha!
off to the river!
briefing. BOOM BOOM~!(the only thing richard learns by heart)
the flying fox guy is gerrard, so i learnt later. as soon as i got rescued, blurred, i heard 'r u ok sarah?', he cares for everyone, so i saw. haha! really nice guy. i think he'd look gd in braided hair.
fire in the hole!
i love whitewater rafting! =D

that's our guide with us.
happy birthday pik!
shaz, clara, joeis n i spent the past few days thinking of what we shld do for her birthday. n all we cld think of was starbuck's blueberry cheesecake, her fav. n so we got it for her.
we thought we still had time for the indoor rollercoaster.. =( they closed at 2130 instead of what they stated, 2200. pik's so damn happy abt this.
aha! the faces of mischief, in the wardobe.
n yeah! we got her!
270308

then we lost our way, under the blazing sun.
we went into a sch through the 'out' gate so we wldnt need to walk a whole big round. the students were actually laughing n waving at us.
n we came out of the 'in' gate of this sch.
ok we bought snacks.
the guys were lucky, they went to a shopping centre n bought clothes n came back with snacks waiting for 'em to eat. while we girls just followed the lectures to museums. aarrgghh.
nonetheless, it was a wonderful n fruitful trip. it was FUN FUN FUN! =D
thks to shaz, ken(cam in ziplock), joeis(adrian), rackcent(waterproof olympus) for the pics!
