just the other day, i was looking through to see what books i have.
there's this one book, my favorite one,
tuesdays with morrie by mitch albom.
it was a great book, very touching, truly inspiring.
then it struck my mind that maybe i could go see how this morrie looked like.
and so, i went to youtube.
ted koppel actually interviewed morrie schwartz sometime before his death.
i think everyone should read the book or watch the interview.
morrie schwartz is generous enough to share what he has learnt in life,
his thoughts on death and all.
here it is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcnL2o385Gw
statements that he offered that may/may not be there with you:
- talk about it; dont hide in a corner or try to conceal it because all it does
is destroy your self-esteem. it is very important to keep that self-esteem.
- accept it; this is you.
- keep an open heart; open it up further n further n further until you encompass
as much as you can with your love.
- be alert and aware in the things that really interests you and go for it,
be involved.
- be compassionate; to yourself, to other people.
- treat yourself gently; be kind to yourself.
and the three basic traits he thinks is the most important are:
- be compassionate
-be loving
- take responsibility
to yourself and others.
"Sometimes you cannot believe what you see, you have to believe what you feel.
And if you are ever going to have other people trust you,
you must feel that you can trust them, too--even when you're in the dark.
Even when you're falling. "
"Love is when you are as concerned about someone else's situation
as you are about your own."
"Don't let go too soon but don't hang on too long. Find a balance."
i just wanna be
alone tonight
i just wanna take
a little breather
played cla's tiaktiak game.
thanks cla! hmm seems like im pretty easy to sketch huh. since two persons have alr done it on their own accord. ahahahh!
look, we're pregnant!
u spray, i scrub ok. heh heh.
to have the upper hand

aww~ indeed it's a really unique yet sweet story that touches your heart. who would've guessed that these kinda things do happen.
anyways,
happy belated vday to everyone!
hope y'all felt the love with joy. =)
i love you
and i am torn to do
what I have to,
to make you mine
stay with me tonight
(i know
everything you wanted
isn't anything you have)
every night I go to sleep
until you're mine i'll wait for you endlessly
can't you see fairy tales they do, sometimes come true
if you believe it could happen to you
like the stars that shine way up in the sky
our love will live forever
and your heart is weak
do you think of love
as a one-way street?
well, it runs both ways
open up your eyes
can't you see me here?
how can you deny?
oh wells.
anyways, last week, boss gave us a cny lunch treat and a ride in his blue(i think) mini cooper!
and as usual i ordered my all-time fav, kanpyo maki!
too bad they didnt have soft shell crabs.
jap version of lo hei was gd.
avocado eel sushi and salmon sashimi were as delicious as they looked.
&& the salmon slices were really generous, thick enough to feel the chew.
(cla, u'd definitely love this!)
but the swordfish sashimi was too fishy for me.
didnt dare to try the yellowtail and tuna sashimi though.
prolly cus they dont look appealing to me. hah!
dragonfruit chill was something new to me so i decided to try it. it's kinda sweet with a tinge of sourness. && the xiao long bao at the asian kitchen's good! even the cereal fried rice and thai style toufu were nice. must try must try! heh heh.
choya, as nice as the last time i drank it. i ate the plum too. hahahah.
sandfly, housefly and i simply love this cereal! =D
tell me,
do i have to go on this way.
it wasnt easy
but i've made it this far.
tell me,
what should i do now?
do i go on like this?
or just let time take this away?
so is this the end?
it is a river
that drowns
the tender reed
some say love,
it is a razor
that leaves
your soul to bleed
some say love,
it is a hunger
an endless, aching need
i say love,
it is a flower
and you,
its only seed
only available in the US.
i was just wondering, why wouldn't they come up with more of these kinda phones? rather than those many sliding or flip or still ones?
